ADVISAL Consulting and Research carried out an Endline Evaluation of the Support of Agricultural Livelihoods Project (SAL) implemented by ADRA and funded by Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).

The SAL project has provided the households with agricultural inputs, including vegetable seeds and farming tools. In addition, the project provided CASH+ modality assistance for three months with an amount of USD 50 per month. ADRA has also provided the farmers with agricultural training in vegetable planting and best practices, including pesticides and natural fertilizers with hands-on activities and practical training in the field and an agriculture training manual. The training program was conducted by ADRA in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (MIA) with contracted agriculture engineers from ministry of agriculture to deliver the training to the farmers.
ADRA has contracted ADVISAL to conduct the Endline Evaluation of the project by examining the short and medium-term outcomes of the project on household food security. ADVISAL team gathered information to enable ADRA to improve future project design and programmatic strategy by assessing the project inclusiveness, relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, accountability, and impact and identifying critical lessons to inform future programming decisions.
